Tina Petrow, City of Airdrie

Tina Petrow is currently in her first term as a municipal Councillor, representing the City of Airdrie. She was elected in 2017 and brings a background in business management, mediations and conflict resolution. Her passion projects are developing a stronger level of community engagement and creating a safer, healthier future for our youth.

She is a mother of two and an avid volunteer in the community. Tina brings a different approach as a newly elected official and balances that with many years of people management and negotiating skills. Tina grew up in a rural setting in both Saskatchewan and British Columbia, before moving to the Calgary Metropolitan Region in 2002.

In addition to her roles within the municipality, Tina also sits on the AUMA Sustainability & Environment Committee, as an alternate for the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board and is the current Vice-Chair for the Inter-City Forum on Social Policy.
