Tom Burton, Municipal District of Greenview

Tom was elected as Director of District 4 at the RMA Fall 2008 Centennial Convention. 

He was first elected onto the MD of Greenview council in 2001. He became a member of the DeBolt Fire & Rescue in 1993 and has held the position of Chief for the past 13 years. He has been a registered EMR since 2001 and a director of the Grande Prairie Rural Crime Watch since 1993.

Tom has lived in the DeBolt area since 1976. His former occupations include surveyor, owner/operator of a trucking company, owner/operator of a service station and restaurant, general manager for the local agricultural society (golf course, curling rink & community hall), and is currently a heavy equipment operator. 

Tom and his wife Alisa live in the hamlet of DeBolt. They have two grown children.
